Forum Moderator Note:

PIEDMONT: Flight of the Pacemaker has now been released to employees and will soon be released to the public. In that regard, the majority of the initial posts in the “INT Book Signing” thread are no longer relevant so that thread has been closed in an effort to avoid confusion and clutter.

In its place is a new subject thread simply named “Book Signing.” Posts from the old thread that may still be current & relative were moved to either the new "Book Signing" subject thread or one of the other threads in the "PIEDMONT: Flight of the Pacemaker" forum.

No promises just yet, but there is an effort under way to try and have several employee book signings in other stations. See Bob Reed's post below. Stay tuned for updates!

Please use the following posting guidelines to really target your subject:
If you have seen the book and want to post a comment, consider making that post under the "Flight of the Pacemaker" subject thread.

If you want to post a question or comment about the availability, release schedule, ordering, or similar topics, please consider using the "New PI Book" subject thread.

If there is not a current Subject that accommodates what you want to say, then by all means create a new one. Remember, this is YOUR forum. My job is simply to keep it updated and accurate.

It is important to insure the information about the book and its release is accurate and clearly posted. Please let me know if you see anything that needs attention.

Thanks!!!

I went down to Smith-Reynolds today and picked up "Flight of the Pacemaker" and let me say this is one of, if not the best coffee table style books ever made, it has the complete history of Piedmont, with great photos, most I've never seen before. I would like to thank Cheryl Hartman for making Mr. Davis's dream of a complete history of Piedmont a reality, he would be so proud of you for such a fine book by Mr. Elliott and put together by Mrs. Norfleet, its worth buying two copies, the book is that good. Thanks again, John Fuqua
