It was the same for every aircraft type.....
There were particular aircraft types assigned to routes, but not
particular aircraft #s.
Example, 727s were flight series 1-99, so any single or two diget
flight number on a route would be a 727.
Each 727 or 737 eventually made it through every station that
had that aircraft type on it's schedules.
One exception to that was when we got the 727-200 Long Range
from PSA and Western.....those 6 were assigned
to the west coast routes, flight #s 1-9.
737-200s were flight series 200-499.
737-300s flight series 500-599.
Those were the good ole days!
