Piedmont Remembered artwork

Does anyone know who is now selling the collage of Piedmont images titled "Piedmont Remembered". This print was sold about ten (10) years ago by a company called "Ease Art" that was located somewhere in North Carolina. They used to run ads in some of the aviation magazines. Now I can't find any reference to the company or the print.

If anyone has any information, or if anyone owns one of the prints and can give me the artist's name, please e-mail me at rleftwich@earthlink.net.

I have just discovered this fascinating website about Piedmont and have read every comment contained herein. It is also my vision to keep the memory of Piedmont alive for all to enjoy.

I am an artist who specializes in drawing commercial airliners. No airline was ever closer to my heart than Piedmont--I lived in the D.C. area from 1964-72 and spent many a weekend at National Airport watching airplanes.
I specialize in the 737-100, 737-200, FH227, and the NAMC YS11A. I am currently working on putting together some PI 727-100 (old paint) drawings. I may actually use some of the photos from this website. All of my PI drawings are acurate to the detail--from the tail numbers to the matching "Pacemaker" names. I am particularly fond of the old midnight blue paint scheme.

Will you let me know when you have any artwork to sell of Piedmont Air Lines. I am a true fan of the old schemed YS-11 and would love to buy a print of it in flight or on the ground. Thanks, Robert

Unfortunately, artist prints are not available; however, we do have 8 x 10 photographs of the YS-11 in both the original paint scheme and the modern paint scheme. The original paint scheme photos are black and white aerial shots that were taken for publicity and promotional purposes. The B & W aerial shot is the one shown in the gallery. Original copies are available for $20.00 each or $10.00 for a scanned digital copy plus 7% tax and $2.00 shipping and handling.

Scanned digital aerial color photos of the original paint scheme YS-11 or scanned digital color photos on the ramp of the modern paint scheme are available. Prices are the same as the above scanned digital photos.

In addition, artist prints of other subject matter are available. The fine art set entitled “Piedmont Commemorative Prints” is a set of two limited edition pen and ink drawings of all aircraft reproduced from an original art work by Ken Hurley, some of which are signed By Tom Davis. This set of prints sells for $100.00 unsigned and $125.00 signed plus 7% sales tax and $10.00 shipping and handling.

Also, there are limited edition artist prints entitled “A Man and His Vision” featuring the DC-3 and the B767 along with a head and shoulders portrait of Tom Davis. The prices of these prints are the same as the set of the two pen and ink aircraft drawings.

We hope to soon have pictures of these on the web site. All proceeds from the sale of photos and prints go to support the Piedmont Aviation Historical Society.

Anyone interested in purchasing any photograph in the archives or artist prints can contact me at the above email address.
