Capt. Grey Booth had a J-3 Piper Cub on his farm and would fly to Danville and Roanoke and other places. One day he flew to DAN and went to the Cattle auction. He bought a Day Old calf and tied it up and put it in the back of the CUB. As he was flying back home the calf somhow got untied. Grey knew the calf was going to tear up the plane and they would both go down. So, Grey said "He wanted out so I opened the door and let him out, NOW!!" Grey had a habit of saying NOW after some of his quotes.
I'll tell some more stories about him in a day or so. If anyone doubts these stories, ask Lionel Anders or Bob Reed.
