In my 2nd. tour of being the station Mgr. at lynchburg, there was a day when I got a call from Piedmont's good friend Calvin Falwell. He said that Bill Mcgee's daughter's car had broken down on her way from college to home in Winston-Salem.
Calvin said that he had her car towed to a repair place and they were bringing her to the Lynchburg airport. Of course Bill had told his daughter to call Calvin.
We had a flight going to INT or through a connection, I can't remember, but I called Mr. Mcgee and told him that I had given her a Pass and put her on a flight to home. Bill said " She is not eligible for a pass", I replied that noone knew that but he and I" That is the end of the story as I remember it!!
