Ah, this is just so terribly sad. Poor little Nancy.
Dear Piedmont Family and Friends:
The response to the passing of Nancy Tongel is humbling. I wish she had known how much we all cared while she was living. With that said, I'm not sure she would have understood in the end. Nancy had some good days and some very bad days. I think we all tried to keep reminding Nancy that we were thinking and cared about her. I called on her Birthday a couple times and the day after but I guess she was in one her moods and didn't want to talk. We all thought she was dealing with life in a near normal way. Sadly, she said one thing and did others. I believe she just wanted us to have happy thoughts about her than the truth.
Nancy was 60 years old on March 25th. Her wishes are that her ashes to be spread over the Ocean off of VA. Beach. No services planed yet but we are working on it. Nancy's sister may change our plans. I have reassigned my Executor status to my Son-in-Law, Kevin Brown who lives in VA. Beach to make things go more smoothly.
I'm going to ask Ken to send this e-mail out to the Piedmont folks while I have been trying to keep up with others asking about her.
I just received this from Freddie Trebby Concerning the funeral services for Nancy Tongel.
Pam, Leslie (Shroeder) Dunaway just called me to have me put out the word about Nancy's funeral service in Va. Beach. She said that Nancy's sister just called her from Iowa to give her the information. I have not talked to anyone at the funeral home at all but this is the info. she gave to me.
